After receiving the prestigious Canadian Governor General’s Academic Medal, Dr. Guorgui was awarded an entrance scholarship to the University of Toronto where he completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction. He received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Montreal in 2001. Dr. Guorgui continued his postgraduate education with a residency at the New York Hospital of Queens, in New York City, where he was mentored by some of the leading clinicians in dentistry. Since becoming a dentist over 10 years ago, he has been committed to advancing his surgical and sedation training by completing multiple implant and sedation residencies. Dr. Guorgui has recently earned the Mastership designation at the College of Sedation, which recognizes his commitment to providing the highest quality care to his patients. He is one of a handful of Canadian dentists who earned this prestigious title. Dr. Guorgui currently practices in multiple locations in the Greater Toronto Area. He has focused on expanding the scope of treatments offered to patients in their general dental practice by providing mobile surgical and sedation services. He is passionate about educating his patients and focusing on their specific needs. In his spare time, Dr. Guorgui enjoys playing squash, biking, skiing and travelling with his wife.
