Dr. Abel received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University. He is also a graduate of The University of Connecticut Dental School where he successfully completed a two-year post-graduate Family Practice Residency program. Dr. Abel is a member of the American Dental Association, the CSDA and the Hartford Dental Society. He is also a member of The Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Abel is a life-long Connecticut resident, presently living in West Hartford with his wife Margie and their son Adam. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, boating and hiking.
