Overall I had a good experience here. The dentist explained everything very well and showed me photos of my teeth as he went over the results of my x-rays. He was a little rough with the flossing, which was uncomfortable, but overall it was a good experience. I did have an issue at the end of the appointment when I was checking out. When I booked through Opencare, I chose Harmony because they were offering a cleaning + exam and x-rays for $149 for new patients without insurance. This was the reason I booked because it was the most affordable option I found. When I was told my bill was $250 (including a discount given for the x-rays), I was confused and a little shocked. I mentioned the $149 offer and the receptionist told me that the promotion had already ended. There was no expiry date listed for the promotion on their Opencare profile, so again I was confused and getting upset by this point because the whole reason I booked was because it was affordable for me. I wasn't able to locate where I had seen that offer on my phone, so the receptionist told me she could lower the cost to $199 to make up for it. I wasn't exactly happy with that, but I agreed and paid the bill. When I got home I was able to find their Opencare profile which clearly stated the $149 offer. I emailed the office with a screenshot and asked for a partial refund. The office manager responded and said that the offer had expired and they'd forgotten to take it off Opencare, but thankfully she honored the price and sent me an e-transfer to cover the overcharge. Next time, if I see an offer listed anywhere, I will be calling the office before booking just to avoid a situation like this again! Glad it worked out though.
