Dr. Hooman Tehrani, Prosthodontist

Dr. Hoomaan Tehrani is a highly accredited board-certified specialist in Prosthodontics. A Prosthodontist is a fully trained dental specialist in the area of cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, dental implants, restoration and missing teeth replacement. Prosthodontists possess the expert knowledge and experience to treat patients with more complex dental problems. Your dentist may refer you to a prosthodontist to treat the more difficult dental problems, such as procedures to replace or reconstruct multiple missing teeth. These complex treatments require the expert knowledge and experience that only a trained prosthodontist can provide. Imperfect teeth, whether present from birth, due to natural decay or caused by a traumatic accident, can be replaced with attractive, functional teeth. Following completion of Doctorate of Dental Surgery in Iran, Dr Tehrani attended graduate studies at King’s College London to obtain his specialty Master degree and the Royal College of Surgeons of England board. He returned home to, Iran, and there was granted the Specialty Board qualification in Iran and practiced as the Director and Head of the Prosthodontics department. After honing his skills in Iran, Dr. Tehrani returned to Vancouver and attended an intense residency course at the University of British Columbia and achieved the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada Specialty Board Certification. He has been working in private practice for several years and enjoys his teaching role as a part time clinical assistant professor at UBC. Dr. Hoomaan Tehrani has opened his own clinic in the City of Langley, referred to as ‘The Place to Be!’ Langley Dental Group provides patients with a full range of dental services.
