Dr. Diane Bird

Diane was born in New Westminster, BC and raised in Steveston, BC. She received her dental degree from UBC in 1996, and has worked at her West Broadway office for her entire career. Dr. Bird attends many Continuing Education courses to keep up to date on her dental skills and techniques. She is a Mentor Dentist at Practical Clinical Courses, a Provo, Utah non-profit, and helps educate and train dentists young and old. Her Mentor is Dr. Gordon Christensen, a world-renowned dental educator, and she has gained a wonderful post-grad education through a whole continuum of courses. It is important to her that patients are educated, understanding their oral health condition and treatment options. Dr. Bird and her staff make it a priority to help patients feel at ease and comfortable in the office; you will hear music and hearty laughs during your visit. Diane believes dentistry can be fun and should be made as enjoyable as possible. Personally, Diane enjoys music, travel, history, current events, cooking, and gardening. Her pup Penny is also a big part of her life.
