Dr. Thomas D. Warchuk

Since graduating in 1982, it has given me great pleasure treating my patients' dental needs and has become a growing passion. Upgrading my technical skills yearly and applying them, has allowed me to achieve and maintain the standard of care my patients have come to expect.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Dr. Thomas Warchuk grew up in Toronto, and graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Creating the Wellesley Dental Centre in 1984, and treating the Church and Wellesley neighbourhood ever since, has been a remarkable life experience. The community has demanded from me, high quality dental care , in a compassionate low pressure environment and that has become my main focus.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I always believed that the best dentistry still needs a good foundation to work right. So I do focus on healthy gums and bone first. Teaching good oral hygiene, deep cleanings and even laser gum treatments to create a healthy environment. Then high quality dentistry like white fillings or all porcelain crowns can be placed successfully.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of having been part of the Church and Wellesley community for the past 35 years, and having a great group of patients and their extended families, who I've known for so many years. I am also proud of the all the members of our team and their dedication, especially Denise, who has been my chairside assistant for 34 years.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I really enjoy helping my patient's smile, so they can laugh and feel good about themselves. Nothing is more rewarding than a patient smiling brightly and saying thank you.
