Dr. Patricia Liu

After graduation, Patricia took on a general practice residency program at the University of British Columbia in 2006. When she finished the program, Dr. Liu stayed in Vancouver for two more years to learn all the ins and outs of working in a private practise, but also to enjoy the wide mountain ranges and ocean of British Columbia. She moved back to Toronto in 2008 to join the Cityview Dental Team where she has worked since. In her spare time she enjoys tennis, skiing, cooking, interior design and dogs.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I have worked for 11 years as a general practitioner, and have experience in a range of treatments. Our dental office is affiliated with other offices in the downtown core. Within these offices, we have access to specialists that provide our patients with comprehensive and optimal dental care.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I perform many treatments for my patients, however my top three are basic restorations (fillings), extractions and Invisalign (clear braces). I've been practicing these techniques for 10 years and have been a Preferred Provider with Invisalign for the last 3 years.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am very proud of my team! We work extremely well together and are each experts in various areas within the practice. This expertise provides patients with a positive and seamless experience when they visit our office.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy every aspect of general dentistry! I am very passionate about treating each patient specific to their needs and strive to ensure that patients are educated on their oral health. My favorite procedure, however, would be anterior restorations - you can see an instant improvement and it's amazing to see someone's confidence improve when they feel good about their smile.
