Dr. Matthew Kreher

I am pleased and enthusiastic to have joined the private clinical practice of Dr. Vogl. Through my experiences volunteering abroad, in research, and working in Nunavut and Ontario, I am confident that I can make positive contributions in the provision of exceptional quality care to all patients. Volunteering as a dental intern at the Mae Tao Clinic in Thailand, I was introduced to a hospital that exemplified attention to human dignity, excellence, compassion, and social responsibility. These are traits which I strive to incorporate in my role as dentist. During expeditions to remote communities in Guatemala, Ecuador, and Dominican Republic, I had the opportunity to work as part of a team that treated communities including marginalized indigenous people, elderly patients and developmentally delayed adults and children. The severity of their medical and dental conditions makes me realize the importance of expanding my knowledge and skill set so that I am better equipped to deal with the diverse needs of patients from all walks of life. More recently, while working in private practice in London and remote Nunavut clinics I was exposed to environments that fostered enhancement of understanding through continuous learning, education and reflective practice. I am experienced in operative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and comprehensive patient care.
