Dr. Jessica Sze Wan Chau

I am originally from Hong Kong, but grew up and received a multicultural education having moved to Scotland and then finally to Ontario. I attended Queens’s University in Kingston, Ontario where I completed my Bachelor of Science (Life Sciences). I then transferred to pursue my career of dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, where I graduated in 2018. I love travelling and backpacking around the world. I have been on numerous volunteer mission trips to contribute to the underserved communities in Paraguay and Guatemala. I am also a big foodie and love spending quality time with my two cats. I am fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of the quality of work I provide for my patients. It is of utmost importance to ensure my patients receive the best dental care during their visit. I also take pride in the rapport and trust I build with my patients that they truly enjoy their dental visits.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Dental pain can be a nightmare! Being able to take my patients out of pain and put a smile on their faces is truly rewarding. I also enjoy working with cosmetic cases, from a small chipped tooth to a full smile transformation. It brings me joy when patients look at their new smiles in the mirror and tell me how much they appreciate it.
