Dr. Ina Ionescu

I am Dr. Teodora Cristina Ionescu but all my patients call me Dr. Ina. When people ask me why I enjoy being a dentist, I explain that for me, dentistry is not just a science and learned skill, but it is an ART. It involves creation, vision and harmony. With every case my team and I aim to create something unique for you that not only provides esthetic results, but also restores your oral health. My passion for dentistry started in Romania while helping my husband in his dental laboratory. After we moved to Canada in 2011, I started my studies at the McGill Faculty of Dentistry in Montreal. After graduation, we moved to Toronto where I practiced as an associate dentist at several dental clinics until I bought my clinic: Inscape Dentistry. I am fluent in Romanian, English, Spanish, German and French and am always eager to learn more languages.

I am very passionate about all aspects of dentistry: from the initial appointment (the treatment plan) through every step of the actual treatment, to the after care. I always aim for the best version that can be achieved and I like to educate my patients about their oral health as well as making the right decision about the treatment they desire to undergo. I believe in :teamwork makes the BEST work; that’s why I surrounded myself with team members that thrive for excellence. I consider my clinic a “boutique clinic” that I created for patients that look for a VIP treatment with high end attention to detail, custom exclusive, hand-made artistic work at the highest level.

What are you proud of in your practice?

We have an in-office full equipped dental laboratory with a ceramic master artist that creates custom highly esthetic crown & bridge work. More so we have an in-house periodontist with many years of experience for all aspects of periodontics but with extensive skills and experience for all-on-X cases as well as gingival grafting.
