Dr. Dorna Mojdami

Dr. Mojdami is a 2008 graduate holding a specialized honours bachelor of science (Spec.HBSc.) degree from York University. She then continued her studies and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree in 2012 at the University of Western Ontario - Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Mojdami has over 4 years of experience working as a general dentist at Christie Park Dental. She is currently pursuing her dental specialty degree in Dental Public Health at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. She is a member of the Canadian Dental Association as well as the Ontario Dental Association and is the founder and president of the Iranian Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Mojdami continually updates her dental knowledge by completing continuing dental education courses in areas such as restorative (aesthetic white fillings), orthodontics (braces), endodontics (root canal treatment), oral surgery (tooth removal), just to name a few. She is passionate about what she does and her number one priority is her patients. She is an advocate of preventing dental disease before it happens and it always welcoming of her patients’ questions and addressing patient concerns, wants and needs.

As a dental health care practitioner, I am dedicated to not only providing oral health care for my patients but also ensuring that my patients are cared for at all levels of their health and well being. I want to make sure that every patient's leaves happy, satisfied and with a sense that they have achieved their dental goals. Every patient deserves to be treated with respect, compassion and be provided with an exceptional solution to their dental issues or concerns. Therefore, I believe that these characteristics and viewing the patient as whole is what sets me apart from other providers in our area.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud of how welcoming, supportive and understanding our dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and administrative staff are. The inviting atmosphere that Christie Park Dental provides is one that makes patients feel at ease, cared for and listened to all of which are needed to better serve the community. We are also an office that continually keeps up with advances in dentistry and our outstanding and state-of-the art facility provides our patients not only the best treatment available but the best dental experience.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

The cases which I enjoy treating the most are restorative treatments that not only alleviate, pain, infection but also provide an aesthetic outcome. I find the outcome of dental work that involves aesthetics to be a great experience since patient leaves happy and with a renewed sense of confidence in their smile.
