Dr. Ben Lerner

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where I completed a Bachelor of Science program. I graduated from dental school being among the top of my class. I obtained a “Masters of Science” Degree in Orthodontics at The Intercontinental University in Mexico City in 2006. In 2009, after working for several years in orthodontics, I moved to Canada, and completed many continuing education courses. I successfully completed the Equivalency Process to become an accredited general dentist in Canada. My vast experience working in both private practices as well as in a non-for-profit setting: specifically, volunteering to assist underprivileged sectors of the Venezuelan population; has enabled me to have a better understanding of patient needs and wants. Knowing what I know, I partner with my patients to offer them a complete experience changing their lives and smiles. Orthodontics (conventional clear or metal braces and Invisalign®) is my passion. I cannot think of anything else I would rather do. I believe in always growing and offering my patients the best this is why I attend many continuing education courses. I am fully proficient in English and Spanish. In my free time, I love spending time with my wife, daughter and baby son and I am a huge fan of the “Toronto Blue Jays” and the “Raptors”.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I truly care about my patients and the end result they want to achieve. I know how to listen to the patients needs and how to formulate a treatment plan that is suited to them as individuals.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I absolutely love Orthodontics!. In this office I manage all the traditional braces and invisalign treatments.

What are you proud of in your practice?

Mostly I am proud to see growth of treatments I love doing. I love the end result of giving patients the smile they love and they want to show off to their friends and family.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy the cases that are challenging and that are complicated. I love working with children and their parents but mostly I love offering adults the smile they always wanted. To see the smile at the end of treatment is so rewarding to me.
