Dr. Anita Sharma

Dr Anita Sharma, originally from Nova Scotia, completed her post-secondary education, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1992. In 1992 she moved to Toronto to start her career as a dentist and maintained an Associateship Position in Newmarket for 17 years, before joining with her sister in 2009 to start their own dental clinic. As a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and the Ontario Dental Association for over 20 years, she is a strong advocate of continuing education. Dr. Sharma continues to maintain her education to learn about current techniques and materials so that she can continue to provide exceptional service and treatment in a spa like environment. With an interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and a strong belief in Preventive Dental Care, she endeavors to ensure that her patients have a safe, calm, relaxing experience throughout their appointment. She is committed to providing individualized, personal care and to building results that keep her patients smiling. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr Sharma enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, traveling, reading, cooking, hiking, and kick boxing.
