About
Dr. Heckler was born and grew up in Montreal, and completed her dental training at McGill University. She graduated as the Valedictorian of her class, and also won awards in orthodontics and community involvement. After dental school, she completed a one year multidisciplinary residency program at the Montreal Children�s Hospital. There, she obtained further training in all aspects of dentistry, including treating patients with craniofacial anomalies, dental trauma, and medically-compromised patients. Toronto had always been Dr. Heckler's second home, as she grew up visiting her grandparents, aunt and uncle, cousins and friends in Toronto. After her residency training in Montreal, she pursued her specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto, completing an additional 3-year masters degree specializing in Orthodontics. Dr. Heckler loves teaching, and is happy to make sure you understand your treatment, every step of the way.
