Dr. Akash Datt

The staff at the front were a little short with me however I was one of the first patients after COVID so I understand their tone. Dr Datt was extremely friendly, he explained what he was looking for and what he was going to do before starting which I appreciate as a nervous patient. It was a pleasant experience overall and I have less anxiety about my next visit! I'm very happy!

This was my first time visiting a dentist and Toronto. I did have a good experience although i wish i had some more time to get acquainted with the doctor to understand more about oral hygiene for better health.

As professional & thorough as any dentist I've been to; teeth feel clean, exam was comprehensive, etc. Probably could do with some equipment updates, though. My chair was slightly wobbly, which seemed to give my hygienist a bit of a hard time, especially when flossing my teeth. And, the '82 Heliodent X-Ray machine required a bit of a fine touch to get it to stay in just the right place.

Went above and beyond. Would recommend

Julie my hygienist was great and super friendly. They also were very attentive to my hour timing as I have a baby at home to run back to.

(Mine was done through Dr Goldberg today) Overall a great experience! Everything was super smooth, they had me in an out in an hour with a proper clean done and some recommendations on how to maintain. Everyone was super friendly and the prices were reasonable. They even helped to do the filing for my insurance on the spot so that too was taken care of.

Actually met with Dr. Goldberg (same practice), but top to bottom the experience was professional and expedient. Will certainly book with them again!

My experience at the office was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and awesome! The Opencare system, on the other hand, was terrible. I initially booked my appointment last Wednesday, and when I showed up I was asked if I had received confirmation from Opencare, which I had not. Opencare didn't book me in their system and in the same lobby were 2 other individuals who had also booked through Opencare but also didn't receive confirmation and didn't have an appointment booked. I have heard this complaint from a number of people who have used the platform and it is terrible as it reflects poorly on the dentist when it isn't their fault.

Dr. Datt was personable, very knowledgeable, and thorough. I don’t like going to the dentist but this was a good experience.

Very accommodating office - I had to reschedule last minute because I had an important meeting pop up. The receptionist was super nice and changed it to a later time for me. Ended up having Dr. Goldberg (very friendly & professional). The best part of my experience was my hygienist, she was so amazing! Very kind, easy to talk to and made sure I was always comfortable. They could definitely do with an office decor upgrade though (which I think they are in the process of)!
