Dr. Ushma Patel

Dr. Ushma Patel received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1996 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 1992. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), the Hinman Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). Dr. Patel and her staff regularly attend seminars, workshops and lectures. She takes pride in using the latest techniques and materials in her office. As a woman in the field of family, cosmetic, implant & sedation dentistry, Dr. Patel feels you should be able to reach her with your dental concerns regardless of time or day. She not only calls her patients the night of their appointment to see how they did after treatment but also gives them her personal cell phone number to call if they need to. Dr. Patel has participated in “Give Kids a Smile” day to promote oral health care of children. She delights in treating people of all ages and providing dental care for the underprivileged. She has earned a reputation as a warm and caring person by getting to know her patients and their likes and dislikes.

We do our best to make sure our patients are as comfortable as possible! I am proud that our dental home provides education, prevention on dental diseases, and positive dental experiences for the entire family. Our goal is to have every patient leave our office with healthy smiles and a positive attitude toward lifelong dental care, and I believe we do just that!!!

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating cases of all types. However, I like to focus more on the cosmetic aspect more than anything. If I can have my patients leave the office feeling confident about their smiles, then that is the case I enjoy treating.
