Dr. Omid Elie

Dr. Omid Elie was born and raised in Foster City. He graduated from UCLA in 2014 with a Bachelors in molecular, cell, and developmental biology and then attended UCSF dental school for his Doctorate of dental surgery. When not at work, you can find Dr. Elie working on his physical fitness with a run or at the gym. In his downtime, he'll be cheering on the Warriors and 49ers or looking for a good stand-up comic to watch. Dr. Elie's main focus is preventative dentistry and oral hygiene education. He believes going to the dentist should be a comfortable, fun experience, and treatment planning should be a conversation with the main focus being optimal oral health for the long run.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Patients should choose me as their provider, as I am a minimalist doctor that is honest and focuses on preserving our patient's natural teeth to the best of my ability within means. As long as that is the goal of the patient, and they want to have a laugh while receiving treatment from me, we will be a great fit.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I am skilled in all areas of dentistry, but primarily focus on preventative, restorative and surgical procedures. I enjoy my job helping others and people that appreciate and laugh with me are all I ask.

What are you proud of in your practice?

In my practice I am proud that I am honest and thorough. While treating the problem at hand, I like to get to the bottom of the root cause and solve it from there. In an ideal, healthy world, people would only be coming to me for the best cleanings of their lives.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating all my patients. However, one of the most rewarding moments for a dentist is to see a patient leave the office with a beautiful smile while only a short time ago they were experiencing discomfort, pain or lack of confidence to smile. It brings me joy to boost our patient's confidence and morale.
