Dr. Joseph Szabo

Dr. Szabo grew up in West Seattle until he moved to Ann Arbor, MI, for dental school. He received his bachelor’s degree in general biology from the University of Washington and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Each year Dr. Szabo completes many hours of continuing dental education courses. He is a member of several study clubs including the Horse Creek Study Club, the Spear Study Club, and takes courses at the Spear campus in Arizona, too. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Snohomish County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Szabo lives in Bothell, WA, with his wife, Dr. Cindy Du, and their sons, Leo and Landon. Their family is rounded out by their two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cocoa and Mocha. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Szabo enjoys spending time with his family, going to the park, traveling, running, practicing yoga, and reading. He is also working on improving his Mandarin, his wife’s native language. "I feel I make a difference in each patient's life.
