Dr. Scott Shaw grew up in Mill Creek, Washington and attended Cascade High School in Everett. Following high school he pursued a college education at the University of Washington and received a degree in Business Administration in 2004. The next four years were spent studying at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, from which he earned his DDS in 2008. Dr. Shaw then elected to further his dental education and completed a one year, Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Michigan. Since returning from Michigan he spent 4 years practicing in Marysville before joining Dr. Timberlake and Dr. Aleinikoff in Seattle. Dr. Shaw is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicene, and King County Dental Society. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Beth, daughter Elliott, and son Dylan. The family dog is Lucy, a very energetic German Shorthair Pointer. Scott’s free time activities include rooting on the Huskies, Seahawks and Mariners, playing basketball, fishing, golfing, skiing (snow and water!) and various other activities.

Communication from office staff was thorough and friendly with (complimentary) parking instructuons and e-forms to complete prior to visit. Upon arrival, office was filled with positive energy, with a short wait time since forms had been completed ahead of time. I had several areas of concern to be addressed and Dr. Shaw was able to address them all, with a detailed plan of action. I had a wisdom tooth extracted during this visit and it was surprisingly easy and pain-free. I felt cared for and appreciate the kindness, friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Shaw and all of his staff. I plan on maintaining Dr. Shaw as my regular provider.

Great dentist, but the bare minimum in customer comfort. I know im spoiled, but my last dentist let you watch tv while getting teeth cleaned and used those electric scrapers instead of manual ones. Makes the cleaning process much easier to sit through.

The hospital staff team is very kind and paid attention to detail and explained the process very well. They have the best equipment for scan and treatment. Dr. Shaw explained the process very well and suggested me the best possible treatment. I think I have found my dentist!
