Dr. Shah is very friendly and knowledgeable. She makes recommendations clear and explains them well, but isn't pushy or focused on up-selling, as I've experienced elsewhere. She also uses tech well, for example using digital photography to point out problem areas, and even to show before/after shots of cavity fillings.

She was great

I had a really bad experience w/ opencare. The day of the appointment you get a reminder text. In the reminder text it stated, your appointment w/ Dr. Darshini S Shah is today at 11am. I have kids, I have a life, I am extremely tired and busy, it takes a lot for me to coordinate to be able to go even dentist appointments. I made this appointment on a whim a few weeks ago via the opencare site. I copied and pasted Dr. Darshini Shah into google maps. It led me to the other side of town and turns out, to her old practice. It took me a total of 45 minutes to get there and back. Luckily Dr Darshini Shah was kind enough to still see me despite the lateness. Opencare needs to send a reminder text on the day of with actual or up to date address and not just the name of the provider.

kind, polite and down to earth with very reasonable fees. With other practices, they want to charge me 400 or so for a night guard but Dr. Darshini was not pushy and her fee for night guard is about 150 without insurance. She was also ok with using a store bought 30 one to try out first before I commit. Over all, very pleasant experience.
