Pries Dental Care

I saw Dr Valera, who was excellent. She took color pictures of my teeth where there was tartar so I could see before and after. She was very thorough and explained all the work she was doing, and was sensitive to my needs when I needed breaks to rest my jaw.

Overall, this was an excellent experience. I filled out my paperwork online before my appointment, so there was no need to anything but check-in when I arrived. There was a small delay to see the doctor, but the receptionist was polite and acknowledged me and told me they would be right with me - it was clear there were many appointments that morning, and . As soon as I was asked to come back, I was quickly x-rayed and examined by Leyli Valera, D.D.S. with great detail about the steps and the details of my exam results. After she gave me the results, I was moved to another room and had a very good cleaning and polishing by Phil, a friendly and informative hygienist. The check-out process was quick, and they scheduled my next cleaning so I am set for my 6 month visit.

Dr Pries was very detailed and thorough in doing the dental exam. Unlike other dentists who may outsource this to assistants, he took the time to sit me down and explain his recommendations with pictures and facts. Thanks to Dr Pries I discovered some decay that had been overlooked by my previous dentists. The office is modern and there is ample parking. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Leyli is polite, did not rush and did a good job for my cleaning & checkup. What impressed me was her attention and response to my specific questions on flossing. She was kind to give me a demo and actually teach me on how flossing is easy and I shouldn't worry about bleeding.

Dr Valera was extremely patient and informative. Her staff was pleasant as well. She took time to answer my questions and concerns.

Dr Valera's office is pretty clean and the staff is AWESOME. Hope, her dental assistant is super nice and caring. Throughout the treatment and subsequent appointments, both made me comfortable by explaining the procedures as they went along. Finding a dentist is not easy and I will have Dr. Valera as long as I live in CA

She is attentive, kind and provided more dental care options for me than any other dentist I've visited as an adult. Wow, and her staff is lovely!

Dr. Valera was awesome. She took time out to talk to me about a long term treatment plan for a few dental issues I have. She lined them out so that I can get the least amount of out of pocket expense too.

Extremely gentle and professional. I would refer my best friend to this dentist, no question.
