About

Dr. Yang Gao received her first dental degree from West China College of Stomatology, the prestigious Sichuan school known as the birthplace of China’s modern dental science education. She then obtained her PhD. in genetic regulation and tooth development from the University of Rochester. She graduated cum laude from UCLA School of Dentistry, with membership of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Gao is an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara County Dental Association. Being a recipient of American College of Prosthodontics Award, she has been actively pursuing continuing education in order to keep providing her patients with state-of-the-art dental services. Outside of the office, Dr. Gao is an avid dancer. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, and snorkeling with her husband and two kids.

    Dr. Yang Gao did pretty solid examination. She walked me through the details of my teeth. We took the X-ray and the regular cleaning. I got my teeth, gums, and the overall condition of oral health checked. They also discuss any issues found during the examination and suggested treatment options. She is very professional.

    Dr. Gao was very kind while she gave me a thorough deep cleaning. It was comforting knowing that I was in her care so I felt less nervous during the treatment. I think my visit went smoothly overall and I would highly recommend her!

    This place has really earned its name. It IS fun to be able to seamlessly book an appointment and not have to wait months to be seen and to not have to wait long at all in a waiting room. I had to reschedule my initial appointment and it was very easy and they were very polite about it. The entire staff here is friendly, efficient, and kind. They made sure that I was comfortable and continuously checked in to make sure I was not in pain. Everything was explained to me and I feel like I received a deeper cleaning than I have at previous dentists. The office itself is also very clean. Some dental offices will try to talk you into unnecessary procedures and this is not one of them. I could see this being a great place for kids or anyone who gets nervous about going to the dentist. Already booked my second appointment and I look forward to coming back.

    She is very gentle. The cleaning did not hurt at all. She also explained to me the situation of my dental health in a detailed manner and suggested next steps for me. She is also very friendly! Definitely recommend her!

    This is the most clean dentist place I've been so far, even the computer keyboard and mouse are covered by plastic sheet to prevent contaminant. Dr Gao is really patient and skillful. She even told me don't have to open my mouth too big during the procedure, which is a real relief for TMJ patient like me. And she doesn't push for a wisdom teeth removal, which is one of the most lucrative procedure in dentistry.
