Dr. Igor Roitman

Dr. Igor Roitman graduated with honors from the international Program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He practiced general dentistry for a number of years and returned to school to pursue a postgraduate education in the dental specialty of Periodontics. Dr. Roitman went on to earn a certificate in periodontics and a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Roitman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Roitman is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at UCSF and is actively involved in clinical research in the field of surgically assisted orthodontics. He specializes in gingival grafting, guided tissue regeneration, bone grafting, bone & sinus augmentation, surgically-assisted orthodontics, and dental implants. He is a member of the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, California Dental Society, California Society of Periodontology, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Roitman resides in San Francisco with his wife and two daughters. He likes to travel with his family and in his free time enjoys swimming, reading and mountain biking.
