About
Dr. Chonthida Athiprayoon has been practicing in the San Jose area for over 20 years. Graduating with honors from the University of the Pacific, she earned her DDS (Doctorate of Dental Surgery) and was further trained in Orthodontics by the United States Dental Institute. She is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association) and the Santa Clara Dental Society. Dr. Athiprayoon is trained in Orthodontics (braces) including Invisalign® which means she wants you to be satisfied with how your teeth look and function! You don't have to feel self-conscience when you smile when you can restore your self-esteem and confidence in 18 months or less. In her "spare" time when she's not "striking" out gum disease, Dr. Athi is an avid bowler and enjoys competing in tournaments.

My 5yo was seen for an evaluation and cleaning for school enrollment. Dr. Athiprayoon was warm and gentle in every manner. We are scheduled to follow up for additional services and are looking forward to a long term relationship here. I was on a time constraint to pick up my kid & she finished perfectly with time to spare. Most other places I have been to take there sweet time. I booked a super last minute appointment and the doctor confirmed my appt within the hour. I arrived and was greeted warmly. After initial ex-rays by the hygienist the doctor came right in and gave me a detailed exam including conclusions from the ex rays taken moments ago. I learned things about the anatomy of my teeth that no dentist has ever told me before! Dr. Athiprayoon really knows her stuff. She was also very warm in demeanor and down to earth. We were laughing throughout the appointment and I left with very helpful tips for great self care going forward that had never been shared with me before.
