Dr. Dovey grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles and moved to San Diego to be closer to family. His degrees: University of California Santa Barbara, Bachelor of Arts / Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine of Pomona, Doctor of Dental Medicine. He likes to stay current with advances in dentistry by regularly attending seminars and study groups. He is a founding member of the San Diego American Academy of Clear Aligners study club. Doctor Dovey is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the California and San Diego Dental Associations. Outside of the dental office, you can find his family camping at local beaches and national parks. He also like to explore local dining and his kids love everything Balboa Park.
