I grew up in St. Louis, MO and attended the University of Missouri. After graduating with a BA in chemistry, I went to Northwestern Dental School and graduated in 1988. I continued my dental training by doing a general practice residency (GPR) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where I was trained in advanced treatment of medically compromised patients and in training in a hospital atmosphere. This advanced training is done by only approximately 5%of dental school graduates. I have been a member of the California Dental Association and San Diego County Dental Society for 28 years I have been in Hillcrest at Rancho Dental for 24 years. I have children, both of which are currently attending college. I have been a member of the Seattle Study Club, an advanced study club for select members of quality San Diego dentists and specialists. Professional interests include implants, ceramic crowns, cosmetic dentistry. Out of office interests include gym running, yoga, and many other activities including health and fitness.
