Dr. Greg Friedman

After entering private practice in 1990 in Pacific Beach, Dr. Friedman moved his practice and his family to Scripps Ranch. Dr. Friedman and his team will always offer the latest in state-of-the art dental technology and procedures, attending dental continuing education to stay abreast of the changing world of dentistry. Their focus on customer service goes way beyond the dental suites with massaging chairs, warm neck pillows, and Bose cancellation headsets available. Dr. Friedman and his team take the time to get to know each and every patient. Many patients have not been to the dentist in several years. Visiting with each of them and understanding their wants, needs, anxieties, and any possible hurdles helps Dr. Friedman and his team develop an ideal treatment plan for that particular patient. Born and raised in San Diego, Dr. Friedman attended Serra High School and San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!). In 1989, he completed his lifelong dream of becoming a dentist at Washington University’s School of Dental Medicine. He followed his degree with a one-year General Practice residency at the world-renowned Barnes Medical Center in St. Louis. Dr. Friedman is currently involved in the accreditation program with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The AACD is the leading cosmetic dental association in the world and provides cutting-edge continuing education for dentists focused on cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Friedman is also involved in the American Academy of Functional Orthodontists and is an advocate of early orthodontic intervention to improve growth development. Dr. Friedman and his wife, Jessica, have a very busy life outside of MOD Squad with five boys between them. Dr. Friedman is very involved in the Scripps Ranch Community where he is currently coaching both the Scripps Ranch High School roller hockey team as well as the roller hockey team for Marshall Middle School. Dr. Friedman is a member and supports the Scripps Ranch Parents – Teachers Association, the Scripps Ranch Civic Association, and continue to be active members of the Scripps Ranch Swim & Racquet Club. When the Friedman’s are not in the office, you can usually find them camping in the desert riding dirt bikes, or challenging the ski slopes of Big Bear Mountain.
