Dr. Frantz Backer

Frantz Backer, DDS, is a highly skilled cosmetic and implant dentist who’s been practicing since 2000. He provides patients with excellent oral health care at Advanced Dentistry of New York in Jackson Heights, Queens, and Brooklyn Heights, New York City. After earning his dental degree in 1999 from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC, Dr. Backer completed a general residency in 2000. Before his dental career, he attended the Physician Assistant program at Touro College School of Health Sciences in Manhattan, New York City, and spent six years practicing general surgery. Dr. Backer stays on top of all the latest trends and developments in dentistry with continuing educational studies and makes sure that his patients are always receiving the best care available in modern dentistry. Over the course of his career, he’s studied at numerous prestigious programs, including The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Backer takes a conservative, yet integrative, approach to dentistry. He believes in doing what’s right and best for his patients, and he never performs unnecessary procedures to make money. He always takes into account their overall health when making decisions about their oral health, and he’s careful about the materials he uses and what he puts in his patients’ bodies.
