At Poway HS, Dr. Lee ran hurdles on the track team, was a team captain, and began several motivational traditions that are still in place today. Following his education at Poway High, Dr. Elan Lee attended California State University San Marcos. He was well respected in his classes, and was offered a teaching assistant position from each of his major course professors. Upon completion of his predoctoral education at this institution in three years, Dr. Lee was honored with a summa cum laude candidacy.
