Although Dr. Dembski has been a faculty dentist and graduate instructor at the UCSF School of Dentistry for 11 years, what he finds most fulfilling are his relationships with his patients. He loves restoring the smiles (and overall health) of people who come to the PDG office, and it gives him a great sense of purpose to coordinate each person’s care so they’re comfortable and have a plan that works for them. Dr. Dembski knows every individual has different dental needs and concerns, and his life has been dedicated to addressing those unique needs and treating patients with multiple medical issues. When he was the Director of Dentistry at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, he formed a program for handicapped children, as well as a One Day Surgery protocol for adults. Following that, he began a community-based graduate program in San Francisco for the University of California. During those creative years, Dr. Dembski was able to bring healthy, happy smiles to many underserved and medically-compromised folks. When Dr. Dembski isn’t working, he likes spending time with his lovely wife, Ann, and enjoying the great outdoors — hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and taking care of the foliage around his house. He also sings bass with three choral groups — including one that travel internationally and another, smaller ensemble that volunteers to sing in nursing homes and retirement homes.
