He knows that it takes more than just good technique to be a great dentist—it takes commitment, understanding, and most importantly, a genuine interest in patient health and safety. Dr. Joshi graduated in 1993 from McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry, in Montreal. That same year, he opened his practice in Ottawa, at the St. Laurent Centre, Ottawa’s largest and most convenient commercial centre. His practice has been focused on aesthetic dentistry and the art of smile-making since its inception. Dr. Joshi has extensive training in cosmetics, restorative, and family dentistry. Before studying dentistry, Dr. Joshi, had completed a post-graduate degree in neurophysiology. A member of numerous professional organizations, including the Ottawa Dental Society, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (Ontario), Dr. Joshi has kept his clinical skills current through an ongoing commitment to continuing education courses. When not designing youthful, healthy smiles for his patients, Dr. Joshi enjoys time with his wife and young family, painting, reading, hockey, and exercising. Education: B.Sc. Dr. Joshi has been my and my wife's dentist for the past 12 years. He office is clean, modern and well designed. Even the magazines are varied and current. The staff polite, courteous and helpful. Wait times are never long usually within 10-15 minutes. Cleaning and more intrusive procedures are carried out with care and virtually painless. I recommend this office and Dr. Joshi to anyone looking for a dentist.

I've been his patient for 4 years now and love him, he's a excellent dentist and has a great mannerism about him. I've had some issues with one of his hygenists who told me I was wrong about only having two wisdom teeth out (she told me I had all four), when Dr. Joshi came in I explained the situation and he nicely turned to the hygenist and told her right in front of me that I was right and pointed out on the xray where my two remaining wisdom teeth were. He treated her with respect even when she was wrong and I was very impressed. I've since switched to another of his hygenists and absolutely adore her. His receptionist is outstanding and very helpful, and I've never been kept waiting for my appointment, they're always on time which I love!

Dr. Joshi has been my dentist for 6 years now, and he has changed my opinion of dentistry. I used to be very nervous before a dental appointment but that is no longer the case! He takes patient education seriously and always takes the time to explain procedures, ensuring I'm ok before proceeding. He has a great deal of experience, including knowledge of TMD/TMJ which enabled him to examine potential causes of my neck pain, which I didn't think would be linked to dentistry. I can honestly say I've never felt pain while in his chair and that has been through fillings, crown work and more. His assistants and front office team are truly amazing people as well, they work magic with his schedule and I've always received an appointment quickly for urgent matters. They've all gone above and beyond for me on more than one occasion. Dr. Joshi is an innovative and genuine individual and I'm grateful to have him and his team as an integral part of my overall health team!

I've been a patient of Dr. Joshi's since 1994. He has always treated me with kindness and respect. His skills match his kind demeanor and his staff is exceptional. All are very knowledgeable and helpful and seem to have been with him for many years. Dr. Joshi always takes the time to give me a thorough explanation to explain any procedure that I may need, which helps me to overcome any anxiety that I may have. I highly recommend him!
