Dr. Saswati Sen

Dr. Saswati Sen is a General Dentist and co-owner of Smile Park Dental, who loves making patients feel comfortable with her friendly and gentle nature. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto and prior to that completed her Master of Science degree from the University of Toronto and Bachelors of Sciences with honours from McMaster University. Dr. Sen strives to remain current with the latest advancements in dental research and techniques with a keen interest in Invisalign and root canal therapy. Additionally, she truly enjoys working with children. She is skilled at putting young patients at ease by entertaining them with many children’s songs and fun magic tricks. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club. She also loves to give back to her community by participating in Smile Days organized by the Halton-Peel Dental Association. Dr. Sen was born and raised in North York, Ontario and moved to Mississauga in 2012. When she is not in the office, Dr. Sen enjoys creating artistic Masterpieces with her young daughter, spending time with family and friends, and playing online games.

As a co-owner of Smile Park Dental, I strive to provide gentle and honest dental care in a setting that is relaxing and comfortable. My aim is to provide individualized treatment and form long lasting relationships in the community that I've been living in for over a decade. After a visit at our office I hope you feel like you are extended family! Through my constant continuing education courses including the Toronto Crown and Bridge study club, Healthy Start and Phelan seminars in endodontics I strive to pursue nothing but excellence in my dental care.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

My goal is to provide complete dental care. By doing a thorough initial exam and doing my own cleanings I feel I create a trusting and soothing experience with patients as they see how gentle I am. Once I know what treatment you require I provide you with the healthiest options for your teeth. With that said, general dentistry including crown and bridge, root canals, Invisalign and working with children are my passion.

What are you proud of in your practice?

We are two female dentists that built our practice from the ground up during a pandemic! Our dream was to create a dental office that is fun for kids and worry free for adults. By incorporating a touchless interactive virtual floor we've created a unique space allowing families to enjoy their visit while getting their teeth concerns addressed!

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

As a general dentist I love working on people of all ages, whether its helping people get out of pain or helping them achieve a healthy new smile. I strive to identify the least invasive yet most stable treatment plans to help keep teeth healthy with long-lasting results. Lastly improving patient smiles either through Invisalign or cosmetic dentistry (ie veneers/crowns/bridges) is a passion of mine.
