Dr. Jack Walz

Dr. Jack Walz is a general dentist who is board certified in Orofacial Pain. He is the director of the TMJ & Sleep Apnea Center of Central Illinois. He is an honors graduate of both Illinois State University and University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He is also the Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Apnea instructor for the Dental Residency Program at OSF hospital. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, fishing, pheasant hunting and spending time with his family.

I have 30 years experience in my field and I am board certified in Orofacial pain. I continue to stay up to date with ongoing research, studies and training by attending continued education courses through my many professional affiliations.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I have a very rewarding career because most of my patients come to me with chronic pain issues of the head and neck. I am able to transform the quality of their lives through successful pain reduction and improved function. In addition to pain patients, I treat sleep apnea disturbances with oral appliances for patients as a much needed alternative to the c-pap machine. Watching patients improve the quality of their lives through normalization of their sleep gives me a lot of pride as a doctor.
