Dr. Henry Wong was accepted into the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry with an entrance scholarship in 1998. During his dental education, he was chosen to participate in an Externship program in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the University of Maryland, where he spent an entire summer working in the Operating Room. After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2002, he went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, an affiliate of the Yale University Medical School. He then decided to come back to practice in Toronto and has been in private practice since. Whenever possible he would spend time in the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto as a clinical instructor for the dental students. During his free time, Dr. Wong takes on another role, giving back to the community and helping those in need. He was a Board of Director for The Carefirst Foundation for the past 4 years, and was the Co-Chair of the Porsche Concours 2009 in support of the Norman Bethune Medical Relief Fund. After the birth of his first child, he spends most of his free time with his family. Dr. Wong also continue to further his education by completing courses and is one of the few dentist in Ontario that can provide IV sedation and Cone Beam CT X-rays .

The online appointment booking provided location, date, time preferences and was quick. The location I selected was within 15 kms from my place, very easy to locate with big signage, with ample parking, and no stairs or elevators to take (just walk in from the handicap parking). Review of patient's health and medications being taken was thorough. Processes to be performed were explained in detail and my tooth extraction was painless! Post-operative instructions and care were provided. Dentist and staff are friendly. I had to request a change a couple of hours before my scheduled dental appointment because of an unforeseen delay in my other appointment prior to this. I'm very satisfied that my request was accommodated and was re-scheduled on the same day! I strongly recommend this place.
