About
Dr. Sarah Downes proudly originates from Louisville, Kentucky. She received her bachelors in Biochemistry from Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida. She then earned a master’s degree in Oral Biology and DMD from University of Louisville School of Dentistry and completed General Practice Residency at the VA in Loma Linda, California. Her research is in active learning in elementary oral health education. She is the recipient of the 2020 Dental Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists and is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Outside of the treating patients, Dr. Downes enjoys running, cycling, hiking, learning new languages, film, fashion, and the arts- including her own amateur photography and painting.
