Dr. Masha Pelts

Dr. Masha Pelts practices technologically advanced dentistry with a genuine concern for her patients’ health and aesthetics in central park south office. She develops a strong relationship with her patients by listening to their needs and answering all of their questions. Dr. Pelts has had diverse training prior to her dental education – she graduated the High School of Visual Arts with concentration in painting and she received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and B.A. in Mathematics (Magna Cum Laude), from New York University. All her passions converged into dentistry, with her work showing a perfect combination of aesthetics and structure. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 2002, Dr. Pelts completed a hospital based residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital. Later, she joined the teaching faculty of the same institution. Dr. Pelts is very passionate about her profession and is constantly dedicating numerous hours to continuing her education, enhancing her knowledge by participating in various seminars to achieve a level of quality unmatched by her peers. Prior to joining her Manhattan practice at a beautiful location overlooking Central Park, Dr. Pelts built her first practice in Forest Hills from scratch, where she has been working for fifteen years. She has a high quality technologically advanced practice where she is exposed to the multitude of dental conditions and treatments. She has great experience in all areas of dentistry, including Restorative/Preventive Dentistry, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Pediatrics, Esthetic Dentistry, and Implant placement/restoration. Cutting edge technology became a major part of Dr. Pelts’ practice. Her diagnostic and treatment tools include CAD CAM technology for single visit restorations, CBCT (3D xrays), guided implants surgery, Laser Dentistry, 3D printing, and invisible aligners. Dr. Pelts is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New York State and Queens County Dental Associations. She resides in Long Island, and spends her free time with her husband, daughter, son, and two dogs.
