Dr. Iyman Elashmawy

Dr. Iyman Elashmawy was born and raised in Manhattan, where he attended the New York University College of Dentistry. After graduating with honors and being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society (OKU), Dr. Elashmawy attended a 3 year specialty training program in Periodontics at New York University. He was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award for his achievements. Dr. Elashmawy has lectured on “Esthetic Crown Lengthening”, “Decision Making in Periodontics”, “Down Syndrome and Periodontics”, and “Bisphosphonate Induced Necrosis of Jaws”. Dr. Elashmawy is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics (AAP), the North East Society of Periodontics (NESP), and the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Elashmawy is currently practicing periodontics in the greater New York area. He specializes in treating diseases of the gum and bone, along with implant reconstruction and esthetic gum procedures.
