Dr. Alina Lane originated on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in a very artistic family. She grew up painting, drawing, and sculpting, and even spent two summers working as a mosaic tile artist. She was inspired to become a dentist by her grandfather, Dr. Kwang Wook Rowe, who practiced into his 90s and passionately loved his work and helping his patients. After graduating Valedictorian of Stephen Decatur High School, Dr. Lane went on to Cornell University and majored in Chemistry with a concentration in Biology. She then returned to her home state to attend the University of Maryland – Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, a top 3 ranked dental school at the time. She was accepted into and completed the competitive Implant Clerkship, served as the President of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, and was initiated into Gamma Pi Delta, a Prosthodontic Honors Fraternity. She was awarded the Dean’s Award for her volunteering work and helped teach Baltimore Youth during her time at UMD. She always dreamed of living in New York City, so she then attended a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn. She was awarded “Resident of the Year” out of 23 residents in the program. In 2013, Dr. Alina Lane decided to open All Smiles Dentistry. She fortuitously met a renown Cosmetic Dentist, Dr. Isler, who mentored her in the art of cosmetic dentistry and veneers, and allowed her to work in his office in Greenwich Village. In 2020, Dr. Lane was able to expand to a newly renovated office on Washington Square Park and continue to grow the All Smiles Dentistry team with exceptional providers and team members! Dr. Alina Lane founded the practice with the intent to provide superior dental care that is provided with empathy and compassion. She takes the time daily to improve her skills and practice, and is a dedicated student for life. Dr. Lane cares deeply for her work and the well-being of her patients, and loves working as a dentist!

All Smiles Dentistry was amazing! The staff were extremely kind, professional, and thorough. Whitney and Andrea checked my insurance before my appointment and notified me that the x-rays weren't covered and that I could send the old ones from my old practice. They were patient with me as it took awhile for me to get ahold of those. The nurse (?) [unfortunately, I forgot her name :( ] took me into the room and was very kind to me and was in the process of taking a 3D scan of my teeth when Dr. Lane came in. Dr. Alina Lane came in and took my medical history but did not perform the cleaning herself. [She kindly offered me a pair of sunglasses though as her light was very bight] Instead the dental hygienist Natasha came in and did my cleaning instead. Natasha was very patient and gentle with me. She explained what fluoride was to me (I've never had this before). At one point she was scraping my teeth for plague and I was confused because I also never had that done before. When I asked her, she explained it to me gently and was also shocked when I told her I had never had that done at my previous dentists. I would definitely go again. I felt well taken care of and welcomed. I trust that I received the best care!
