Dr. Tom Laurenza

Dr. Tom Laurenza obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. He also completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University. During his time at the University of Toronto, Dr. Laurenza was able to excel scholastically and clinically, while participating on several intramural sports teams and volunteering for various charitable organizations. Dr. Laurenza is excited to be a part of the team at Heartland Health. As a graduate of St. Gregory Elementary School and Rick Hansen Secondary School and as a member of various sports leagues in Mississauga, Dr. Laurenza feels privileged to be a able to maintain and improve the oral health of the community that he grew up in. Dr. Laurenza is very passionate about his treatment and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He is a strong believer in preventive dentistry and values the importance that it has in maintaining oral health and general health. Dr. Laurenza also spends a great deal of time focusing on patient education so that his patients feel comfortable with his treatment plans. His commitment to patient education also allows his patients to understand what causes oral disease and the steps that are needed to prevent it. Dr. Laurenza has a friendly personality and understands that every patient is unique. This is why every treatment plan he creates is individualized to each patient. He is in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian, Ontario, and Halton-Peel Dental Associations. When Dr. Laurenza is not working, he enjoys reading, playing sports, such as hockey and golf, and spending time with his wife and son, and his family and friends
