Dr. Patel is from the Grand Canyon state. Dr. Patel grew up in Tucson, Arizona and attended the University of Arizona where she graduated with a major in physiology and a minor in chemistry. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Dr. Patel was accepted to the New York University College of Dentistry where she completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). Dr. Patel then returned home to Arizona to practice dentistry in a pediatric dental office before moving to Mississauga following marriage. Dr. Patel is fully licensed to practice dentistry within the United States and Canada. Dr. Patel is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, The Academy of General Dentistry, Ontario Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Arizona Board of Dental Surgeons. Dr. Patel believes in keeping up with dental advancements and frequently attends continuing education seminars and workshops. Dr. Patel enjoys working with children and adolescents and is Invisalign (clear braces) and Six Month Smile certified. When away from the office you can find Dr. Patel enjoying time with her three kids. During her free time, although limited, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, reading, and swimming and the company of family and friends.
