Dr. Jeffrey Lam

I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honours from the University of Toronto. I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from McMaster University. After graduation, I pursued additional training by completing a hospital dental residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, with focuses on treating medically complex individuals and those with special needs. I also traveled to Moose Factory to provide dental services in the surrounding northern Ontario communities. Currently, I am a staff dentist at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, part of the University Health Network hospitals in downtown Toronto. I am also an instructor for the Faculty of Dentistry at University of Toronto. I am an active member of the Ontario Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. With your comfort in mind, I am certified to provide dentistry under oral sedation, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and intravenous (IV) sedation. I enjoy providing cosmetic dental treatments and I am skilled in complicated dental surgeries including wisdom teeth extractions and dental implant surgeries. Above all, I believe good communication is crucial to helping you achieve the smile you want. I am always ready to attentively listen to your needs and explain any questions or concerns you have to ensure you feel confident with us. I strive to gain your trust so we can be your dental team for life! When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy playing the violin, running and the occasional Netflix binge.
