Dr. Aatika Ahmed

Dr. Aatika Ahmed was born in Montreal and raised in Ottawa. She completed her dental education (D.M.D) at McGill University. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree with Summa Cum Laude distinction and Master of Science (MSc.) degree at University of Ottawa. Dr. Ahmed has received various awards throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies including Dean’s Honour list, Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), Queen Elizabeth’s Scholarship in Science and Technology (OGSST), University of Ottawa's Dean’s and Excellence scholarship. Dr. Ahmed has attended numerous Continuing Education courses in Dentistry and is dedicated to excellence. She is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA). Dr. Ahmed believes in patient-centered dentistry and providing quality dental care to her patients. She strives to ensure patients are comfortable during their appointments and have the best experience. Dr. Ahmed is passionate about giving back to her community and has considerable experience working in Dental Public Health. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ahmed enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
