The overall experience was excellent. I’m usually very nervous about going to the dentist, but the team made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They were warm, attentive, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I really appreciated how thoughtful they were about how I was feeling throughout the entire visit. Dr. Rupa Bhatt was especially kind and caring, which made a huge difference for me. The appointment started on time, the clinic itself is modern and very comfortable, and they use advanced technology. They also helped me sort out my payment through insurance, which made the process even smoother.

The receptionist handled my billing very poorly. I was in communication with them about my insurance and previous patient records. They did not care to check the records or connect with my previous dentistry and redid everything which made me pay close to $300 as I was leaving. Transfer of patients process is handled very poorly. The receptionist did not seem experienced with claims handling as it took her a while to figure out which numbers needed to be entered for the claim. Overall, the billing process handling made this a bad experience for me and I am probably not coming back again. Payment and billing is an equally important factor to cater to outside of just the dental care.

I was anxious about the appointment because I hadn't been to the dentist in some time and knew I had issues to be addressed. I had chosen this dentist carefully because of the education of Dr. Sferlazza (U of T). When I arrived, there was a bit of confusion ... even though I had confirmed my appointment via telephone, it wasn't in the system nor did they have the insurance info I sent. Regardless, they accommodated me and were very kind and attentive. Actually, having things go wrong from the start gives you a good indication of who you are dealing with and they managed it perfectly. The exam and x-rays were so high tech and thorough and what seemed like beyond extreme. Midway through, I actually was concerned my insurance would not cover all they were doing, but they assured me that it would. Finally, when I expected to see Dr. Sferlazza, I was told I was scheduled to see Dr. Bhatt. Though that initially concerned me, I looked at her profile and saw she was also a U of T grad with plenty of experience. They had told me I could come back, but I moved ahead and I'm glad I did. She was lovely, thorough and clearly highly qualified. Despite all the high tech imagery, her recommendations for proceeding were right on point and not excessive. She was kind, non judgmental, clear, extremely competent and so nice. When I left, we scheduled my next appointment for cleaning and the repair of a broken tooth and I paid the bill which was totally reasonable and my insurance company covered their regular percentage without issue. I don't have great insurance and so I was really pleased. Anyway, I highly recommend the practice and Dr. Bhatt.

Good overall experience but I wish they would have tried to “sell me” a little more on their practice as a new patient. Didn’t feel like there was much effort to have me switch to a new dentist.

This was my first time returning to the dentist in far, far too long and everything about my visits thus far has been exceptional service. Every visit has been very warm and welcoming and has helped ease my dental anxiety so much. Her and her team have worked with my insurance to make that process seamless as well.

Dental clinic is clean, staff are friendly and welcoming, wait times are little to none, and medical staff are knowledgeable and reassuring! Already have a treatment plan ongoing and will definitely recommend this place to friends.
