Marjan Partovi has been living in the Washington , DC area since 1991. She hails from a family of dentists. Upon her arrival to the area she attended college at the University of Maryland where she graduated magna cum laude. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She stayed in school an additional year to complete a rigorous one-year residency program in Advanced General Dentistry where she gain valuable experience in treating patients in a comprehensive way. Dr. Partovi has been in private practice since graduating from dental school in 2000. She has a keen interest in periodontics (gum disease treatment), esthetics, and endodontics (root canal treatment) through her strong commitment to continuing education. But what really makes Dr. Partovi unique is her warm, caring and friendly chair side manner. Dr. Partovi is a licensed dentist in both the states of Virginia and Maryland and is recognized for her accomplishments by the North East Regional Boards (NERBS) and Southern Regional Testing Agency (SRTA).
