While being away from her family was difficult, this hard work paid off when she was admitted to UC Irvine for her undergraduate studies, followed by the top-ranked UCLA School of Dentistry. She completed dental school in 1999 and spent a decade working with a number of well-known Southern California dental offices before founding her practice.
