Dr. Sharif Alsabbagh

Dr. Sharif Alsabbagh graduated with honors from the University of Damascus in 1990, ranking first in his class. Upon completing his Oral Surgery specialty at the same university, he was appointed as a demonstrator in the departments of Dental Radiology and Oral Surgery. After practicing high-end dentistry and oral surgery in multiple centers for over 15 years, Dr. Alsabbagh complimented his experience with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Western University in London Ontario. He graduated with high distinction and was on the Dean’s Honor List. To maintain the highest quality of patient care, Dr. Alsabbagh regularly attends numerous continuing education courses each year. This enables his practice to grow in parallel with the evolving field of dentistry. His extensive training and experience in surgical extractions and the expanding field of implant dentistry allowed him to use both, science and art, to create beautiful smiles for each of his patients. To him, patient comfort is of utmost importance; as such, his certification in IV sedation allows him to treat his patients while they are asleep. His practice is focused on the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, surgical extractions, dental implants, bone grafts, and sinus lift. He is also an active member of many organizations including the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, the London & District Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentists. He is fluent in English and Arabic. His hobbies include photography, hiking and exercise. Dr. Alsabbagh enjoys spending free time with his wife and their three sons.

" I have been practicing dentistry for over 20 years with extensive experience in oral surgery, wisdom teeth extraction, implant dentistry, sleep or sedation dentistry. What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

"I specialize in a variety of treatments, however my top three are Implant dentistry, Grafting techniques and Surgical extractions under IV sedation. I've been practicing these techniques for multiple years and have developed a special expertise in each."

What are you proud of in your practice?

Whether it is surgical extraction, placement of an implant or even a simple filling I can provide multiple levels of sedation that can patients to ease throughout the procedure.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy all types of dental procedures However, delivering crowns or dentures supported by implants is one of the procedures I like most. I can immediately feel and see the positive change in my patients' experience, and their happy faces.
