Dr. Michael Lueck was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He decided in 3rd grade that he wanted to be a dentist. Throughout college, Dr. Lueck worked as an assistant to an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. Upon graduation, Dr. Lueck commissioned with the United States Air Force. He received the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lueck served in Germany and several bases in Colorado. Throughout his career he continued to receive advanced training, working diligently to provide the best comprehensive dental treatment to our service men and women. He still serves as a Reservist in the Air National Guard.

McArthur Dentistry has been an established practice in Lakewood for over 32 years. Our patients recognize quality and honesty in every aspect of care. This is why they trusted Dr. McArthur for decades with their oral health and continue to trust his predecessor Dr. Lueck.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Dr. Lueck attended and Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency following dental school. Through this residency, he received advanced prosthodontic and surgical dental training and is able to provide services in our office such as; dental implant placement, IV sedation, wisdom teeth extractions, and comprehensive crown and bridge procedures.

    Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Generally I’m nervous at the dentist, and from the time I walked in everyone was engaging and put me at ease. Dr. Mike was really friendly and I appreciated his conservative approach of putting health first.

    Everyone there took my concerns seriously with my severe anxiety/phobia of the dentist and did everything they could to make it more pleasant and less stressful. Dr Michael was amazing at creating a plan for me being understanding of my situation. Highly recommend to anyone!

    I was nervous going into my appointment, but the staff and hygienists made the entire process easy and pain free. Every step of my appointment was explained, from my cleaning to follow-up work. I have never had such a pleasant experience at a dental clinic before. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm moving out of state, I'd have a follow-up appointment booked immediately!

    This was my first visit to a dentist in a long time so I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Lueck explained everything to me in great detail, which I personally like, as opposed to former dentist who didn't explain anything at all. Highly recommend them to anyone

    As soon as I arrived everyone at the front desk made me feel welcome. They were so thorough in learning my medical history and did a sort of "trade off" when they left you with the next person so they knew what had already been talked about and you never had to repeat yourself like you so often do at other dentists and doctors offices. Dr. Lueck is a great dentist,and Mandy is an amazing hygenist. The entire front staff is incredible and I'm not even nervous for my next appointment! Thank you all!!
