Dr. Evan C. Adams

I am thrilled to carry forward Dr. Glen Bruenjes’ legacy of high-quality, comprehensive dental care across the street from Stratford High School. I came to Houston in 1999 to attend Rice University, after growing up in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia. Houston has always been my second home – my mother graduated from Spring Woods High School, and my family spent summers visiting my grandparents in Spring Branch, where they lived after my grandfather’s retirement from Chapelwood United Methodist Church. At Rice, I fell in love with Veronica Flores, a fellow student from the Rio Grande Valley; she became a great reason to stay in Texas after I graduated! We will celebrate our sixteenth wedding anniversary this year. In my first career, I taught high school history at Barbara Jordan High School in HISD, and then taught in Bryan, Texas and Columbia, Missouri, where Veronica and I lived while she attended veterinary school at Texas A&M and residency at the University of Missouri. After I graduated summa cum laude from dental school at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, Veronica and I were excited to return to Houston. I practiced dentistry in Cypress for several years before taking over Dr. Bruenjes’ practice in 2019. Veronica is a veterinarian in Houston. We spend most of our time outside the office playing with toy trucks and visiting playgrounds with our sons: Matthew, who is six, and Daniel, who is four. Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Our practice is designed to give our patients the time and attention they deserve. I am scheduled to see one patient at a time so that you will have my full focus. This lets me thoroughly address your concerns, answer your questions, and make plans for your dental care that best meet your goals while being respectful of your schedule and budget.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

-Fixing broken or decayed teeth with fillings and crowns (caps) -Treating dental pain -Straightening teeth with braces and clear aligners

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am proud that we give our patients the time they need to address their dental concerns and feel comfortable with their treatment in the office. It is especially gratifying to hear from our patients who have had a life-long fear of dental care who now feel comfortable being cared for here.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I especially enjoy caring for people who have not been to a dentist for a while and are struggling to know how to fix painful, broken, or missing teeth. I enjoy helping people come up with a plan and helping to prioritize their dental needs.
