Dr. Gary S. Millinger, DMD

Dr. Gary Millinger has practiced dentistry for 34 years. He received his B.S. from Rutgers University, his DMD from New Jersey Dental School, and did his general practice residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He completed his T.M.J. and facial pain residency at New Jersey Medical School and his Orthodontic residency at the Institute for Graduate Dentists in New York City. An additional five years of training earned him the prestigious designation of Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Millinger has also completed extensive training in restorative dentistry at the esteemed Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He also completed advanced aesthetic and functional cosmetic dental training with Dr. David Hornbrook, one of the nation’s most renowned cosmetic dentists. In addition to maintaining his practice, Dr. Millinger is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral Health and Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. Dr. Millinger is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the International Academy of Orthodontics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Spear Study Club and the New England Master Track Study Group. He has also served on the peer review committee of the Hartford Dental Society for more than 20 years, and is a member of the medical staff at St. Francis Hospital. When not in the office, Dr. Millinger spends time studying guitar, yoga and alternative healing modalities. He resides in Burlington with his two children, Eric and Alexa and enjoys cycling, hiking, swimming, running and tennis.
