Dr. Pahopos, a graduate of the University of Louisville (Kentucky) Dental School, offers patients a comprehensive background in dental medicine. He grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois and graduated from York High School. Dr. Pahopos attended University of Illinois at Chicago for his Predentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at University of Louisville Dental School. Dr. Pahopos has been practicing dentistry for over twenty years. He opened Elmhurst Family Dental in 1996. He is a member of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce as well as a member & Supporter of The Oral Cancer Foundation. Dr. Pahopos is married with two children, and loves traveling with his family. Some of his hobbies include basketball, softball, golf and coaching his kids in a variety of sports. He also volunteers in many charities and fundraisers. Dr. Pahopos has a passion for dentistry. He is constantly taking continuing education courses to provide his patients with the BEST dental care possible in the most gentle manner possible. He only uses the best quality materials and dental labs. My visit was an extremely pleasant experience: staff genuinely care about their patients and aren't dishonest about the work you need done which became apparent compared to the denist I went to last; I put off getting my cavities filled from my last visit: this dentist stated I only had two cavities, which is significantly less than the 7 I was told I had at the last place. I was also given a free T-shirt, highly recommend!

Everyone there is so incredibly friendly and Dr. Pohopos is the most laid back person I've ever met. I have major dentist anxiety like 99% of the world's population lol and he definitely made me feel a lot less anxious about coming back for work to be done. I love it here!

Dr. Pahopos and his staff are all super friendly and welcoming. They make sure you’re comfortable and understand what is going on with your dental health. Appointment started right on time and I also liked that they have TVs to keep you distracted while getting your teeth cleaned.
